is pressure-impregnated fire-retardant lumber and plywood that provides tested fire protection for applications directly exposed to the weather or high humidity, outdoors as well as indoors. It can be used in many applications such as decks, balconies, siding, trim and many more. It can be used in the much the same way as untreated lumber and offers the fire-safety and insurance advantages of non-combustible material.
In addition to a full line of Interior Fire Retardant lumber and Plywood, Schutte Lumber offers exterior fire-retardant lumber in 2×4-16′, 2×6-16′ and 2×8-16′. We also carry exterior fire-retardant plywood in 3/4″, 12″ and 5/8″.
Fire retardant plywood is a must where fire risk is high as you say in boats , hotel doors. Few more hours of resistance to fire can save many lives.
